CENTRAL COAST EYECARE

Vision

Central Coast Eyecare has been providing quality eye health care to the Central Coast for 75 years, and we are extremely proud to stand apart from the discount and franchise outlets that you may see so heavily advertised. Where they have a strong emphasis upon quick patient turnaround and retail sales, our commitment is absolute peak eye health care and appropriate prescribing of quality products for the best visual correction and eye health management that you can have.

CENTRAL COAST EYECARE

History

We are the longest running optometrist practice on the Central Coast, having started in 1945. Being a family owned local business, our proprietors and staff are the same friendly faces you will see year after year. On average, our staff have been with us for ten years, so you’re not going to come in, and have to reintroduce yourself to us every time we see you. Everyone is different, so we get to know our patients well, in order to provide the quality and service they require and need.

Our Team

Highly qualified, experienced and friendly team of optometrists, consultants and assistants.

Dr Philip Crossfield

Director / Optometrist  B.Optom(Hons)

Practising since 1993, Philip has always been interested in scientific and medical things and wanted a career where he could combine this with relating to people and helping them. Optometry was a good career choice to do both.

Dr Katy Casey

B.App.Sc. (Optom), Grad.Cert. Ocular Therapeutics, Credentialed Optometrist (Aviation)

Practising since 1995, Katy was always keen on science subjects at school and having worn glasses since she was 15 years old, optometry seemed like a good option. Katy is both professional and caring to her patients.

Dr Shauna Elsworthy

BSc(Hons)Optometry. Grad.Cert. Ocular Therapeutics.

Practising since 2007, Shauna also gravitated to a science/medical career where she could help people. Loving travel, she completed her optometry degree in Ireland. Shauna had been a patient of CCE since she was 14.

Dr Sarah Tait

B.Optom.(Hons) T.P.A

Practising since 2014, Sarah combines her love of science and meeting people to clearly and effectively communicate with her patients. After volunteering for Cambodia Vision, she appreciates how lucky we are in Australia to have access to great healthcare.
